P8Z Universal Power Cable
A hand-built power cable combining oxygen-free copper conductors, Audwave’s eight-wire ground-filtering construction and Level 2 vibration absorption.
Designed as a versatile choice for audio-system power connections, with a flexible construction that holds its arranged shape.
01 / THE CONDUCTOR
Copper
at the core.
P8Z uses 2.5 mm² oxygen-free, multistrand copper conductors. The flexible multistrand construction helps with routing behind your equipment.
02 / GROUND WIRE FILTERING
Eight wires.
A dedicated geometry.
The GWF construction incorporates eight 0.2 mm² wires arranged using Audwave’s ground-wire geometry. It is designed to help dissipate noise through ground conditioning.
GWF complements proper system grounding. It does not replace the protective earth connection or correct grounding faults.
03 / VIBRATION ABSORPTION
Level 2.
Built into the cable.
Layers incorporating natural cotton and linen form part of Audwave’s vibration-absorption construction.
Level 2 uses additional layers in a denser arrangement than Level 1, with the aim of reducing mechanical vibration transmission through the cable.
04 / FORM MEMORY

P8Z can retain its arranged shape, helping you route the power cable around your system and away from signal cables.
Use gentle curves and leave enough slack to avoid strain on equipment sockets.
05 / HAND-BUILT
Assembled
by hand.
Each cable is assembled by hand, combining the conductor arrangement, vibration-absorption layers and connectors in one finished cable.
